Within the last decade, Keely’s name has become synonymous throughout Texas and the South for her chic style, exquisite taste, flair for fun, and the ability to flawlessly execute life’s most cherished events.

Her namesake firm, Keely Thorne Events, boasts a talented and carefully curated team of planners who all share in Keely’s thorough attention to detail, boundless creativity, and sincere passion for the industry. From Belize to Cape Cod and everywhere in between, Keely works alongside her team to ensure that every client enjoys a collaborative partnership from start to finish. By taking the time to know their clients and truly understanding their vision, Keely and her team are able to create meaningful events that are truly one-of-a-kind. Being a native Louisianan, Keely’s southern charm and hospitality also play a big role in her ability to make clients and guests feel welcomed, special, and like a member of the family!

KTE’s work has been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, Inside Weddings, Style Me Pretty, Carats and Cake, Paper City, Modern Luxury Houston, Houston Brides…just to name a few. When Keely isn’t planning her next soiree, she enjoys spending time with her two children, Greer and Grey. To date and always, they will be Keely’s most treasured accomplishment!

ALLISON BUTCHER

Director Planner

As a Senior Planner for KTE, Allison uses her charm, fun personality, and wonderful management skills to deliver the perfect weddings for her clients.  Despite the many challenges every large wedding presents, Allison handles the twists and turns with her calming but assertive nature. Allison inevitably makes new best friends with every client and truly becomes one of the family while making sure that their entire wedding experience is what they always imagined and much more.

Allison truly loves her work and brings that passion to every engagement, even if it means unclogging an overflowing toilet with a mop or driving an old ranch truck with a bad clutch.  Just ask her…and be prepared for some great stories! With every story there are lessons learned, memories made, and laughs shared!

With her degree from the Conrad Hilton School at the University of Houston, five years in hotel management, joining the KTE team in 2011 and planning just over 100 weddings, Allison truly has come close to “seeing it all”

BETH WERNER

Director Planner

Beth is lavishly creative and meticulously organized, making her a natural born event planner. She began her events career in Austin with the University of Texas, but a Houston native, she quickly brought her talent back to her hometown. After working with one of Houston’s most well-known catering companies for a number of years, her love for working with clients on detailed coordination led her to her current home at Keely Thorne Events.  With over 10 years of experience and hundreds of successful local and destination events under her belt, you are in amazing hands with Beth!

When you first meet Beth, she will instantly put you at ease with her candid, fun personality. She will then reassure you with her extensive knowledge of the wedding industry. With no shortage of inspired ideas, she meets you at every step with a fresh and fun approach! Her creative work has been published in Style Me Pretty, Carats and Cake, Modern Luxury, Brides of Houston, and more.

Beth's main philosophy is that each wedding should be a reflection of the couple’s wonderful uniqueness, so her favorite part of the process is really getting to know the couple and their families. Beth’s mission from there is to help guide the design and details so that every client can relax and enjoy the start of their new beginning!

Ashley began her professional career as an elementary school teacher where she developed meticulous organizational skills and an aptitude for problem solving. However, after planning her own Houston wedding, Ashley realized her passion for event coordination.  As a result, Ashley never shied away from an opportunity to organize school functions and jumped at the chance to plan weddings for friends and co-workers. Soon after, she chose to pursue her passion for event planning on a full-time basis and joined the KTE team.

As an event coordinator, Ashley is able to express her creativity and sense of style in an unparalleled manner. She enjoys producing beautiful weddings and exploring new ways to raise the bar in order to create a one-of-a-kind event. Further, her amicable personality puts clients at ease and ensures that they enjoy each step of the planning process. She works tirelessly to ensure that your vision comes to fruition.

ELLE INGLISH

Senior Planner

Keeping true to her Southern roots and adoration for events, Elle graduated from college with a degree in Hospitality and Event Management. From there, she was immersed into the Houston event industry working at several established wedding venues. Once realizing her true passion was creating a dream day for her clients, Elle was inspired to take on wedding planning full-time and joined the KTE team!

Elle’s appreciation for precise detail and over-the-top creativity are a perfect balance. With an eye for design and a joy for blending tradition and surprise, she is sure to create a flawless event! Elle’s warmth and love for weddings will carry throughout the event planning process, conveying your true vision with every detail. When Elle

isn’t planning beautiful events, she’s enjoying time with family, friends and her chocolate lab, Bella.

JULIE MYERS

Senior Planner

Julie began her event planning career while pursuing a degree in Advertising and Public Relations in Wisconsin. Filling a constant thirst for events, she busily involved herself in the planning of parties, showers, and weddings while still in college. Landing herself a role with a premier firm prior to graduation, Julie has served on all rungs of a planning firm, cutting her teeth first as an intern, while hard work and perseverance have secured her roots in the industry. Having experience in many capacities from weddings to nonprofit galas gives her an edge in expertise and versatility when it comes to any type of event. She boasts a bubbly personality that allows for clients and vendors alike to feel at ease and as if they’ve had a lifelong relationship throughout the entire planning process.

Julie lives for the fast-paced lifestyle that comes hand in hand with event planning and being behind the scenes is something she thrives on. As the day should solely spotlight the client as a whole, you’ll always find her in the background making sure production is running smoothly with a smile on her face. Grace under fire and her can-do positivity lend cause to successful event execution and affirmative reviews. She finds the big unveil to be the most exhilarating part of planning and loves when her client’s grand visions come to life in front of them.

Having planned events in Texas, and from the Midwest to Mexico, her work has been featured in Style Me Pretty, The Knot, Smitten Collective,

100 Layer Cake, and Wisconsin Bride. Julie enjoys incorporating fun pops into traditional elements and is smitten with any pretty paper goods. When it comes to styling, she can’t help but fixate her focus on the tiny touches, all the way down to typography. In her spare time, she is always preparing herself for her next big adventure and never fails to have a half-packed suitcase waiting in her closet.

PAIGE NASSAB

Senior Planner

Paige is a native Houstonian and proud graduate of Texas A&M University.  After an internship with the KTE team in 2015, Paige fell in love with the events industry and knew a career in events is what she was meant for! Upon graduation, Paige furthered her knowledge of the industry by joining one of Houston’s most prestigious floral, décor, and design companies. This experience gave her a layer of perspective and planning in the events industry and also ignited her passion for planning even further. Even during this busy time, when Paige wasn’t focused on the floral and décor side of events, she was assisting KTE planners on high-end events across the country. While design and décor will remain a passion of Paige’s, she is happy to bring that love and knowledge to the table for each of her clients.  

Paige’s warm and caring personality will draw you in immediately! She is creative, meticulous with every detail, extremely organized and a one-of-a-kind problem solver. As a recent bride herself, Paige is acutely aware of the importance of your wedding day and will walk you through the entire process seamlessly! When Paige is not planning an event, she enjoys a good movie, relaxing at the beach and spending time with family, friends, and her adorable puppy, Macie.

RACHEL RHODES

Associate Planner

Rachel thrives on executing stylish, bespoke events that create everlasting memories for not only the couple, but their families as well. She strives to always stay two steps ahead during the planning process, all the way through to event day. She continuously stays up to date on wedding trends and loves discovering new ways to make your wedding details stand out.  Her warm, calm, straight-forward personality will give you the confidence knowing your special day is in the right hands!  

 

After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Rachel moved back to her hometown of Dallas where she began her professional career planning various events for corporate companies. She knew she belonged in the events industry, but found herself craving more of a creative outlet. After moving to Houston, she began an internship with Keely Thorne Events where she was introduced to the world of wedding planning. She developed relationships with vendors and gained the skillset necessary to execute an event from start to finish. Rachel wanted to educate herself on all aspects of the event industry, and upon concluding her internship with KTE she received the chance to work with a brand-new luxury event venue. She played an integral role for the venue from inception to aperture. While she was coordinating over 100 weddings a year, she was simultaneously building the expansive coordination department for the venue. Although she cherished every single second of learning all aspects of venue operation, she is elated to return to where she first fell in love with weddings. Now that Rachel is back with Keely Thorne Events full-time, she is looking forward to using her industry knowledge to enhance the experience of all her clients. 

 

Rachel’s favorite part of every wedding is the friendship that is developed with her couples. She genuinely enjoys getting to know them and their families, allowing her to curate a celebration that is reflective of them in every way. In her free time, Rachel loves to travel and see the world. She’s constantly surrounded by friends and family that she adores, and is happiest when she is with her chocolate lab puppy, Gus!
